About Us

This nonprofit was founded in loving memory of Jacqueline Pitts — a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was defined by generosity, strength, and unwavering love. After Jacqueline’s battle with cancer, our family searched for a way to honor her that felt true to who she was. We didn’t have to look far. Every winter, she made sure her grandchildren had warm jackets. No matter the season of her own life, she made certain that no child she loved would ever face the cold without protection. To Jacqueline, a jacket was never just a jacket. It was care stitched into every seam. It was dignity wrapped around small shoulders. It was a promise: you are protected, you are loved, you matter. Inspired by her compassion, we created this organization to extend that same promise to children in our community. Our mission is simple and powerful — to ensure that no child goes without warmth during the winter months. What began as one grandmother’s act of love has grown into a movement of generosity. Through community support, partnerships, and donations, we provide winter jackets to children in need, carrying Jacqueline’s spirit forward in every coat we give. Her love did not end with her life.
